Almaza Bay Recreational Vehicles Policy and Regulations 2024


Golf Carts:  

Please note that Golf Carts are not allowed to park on the promenade - only for pick up and drop off.

Golf Carts must be registered and licensed to obtain to driving access within Almaza Bay. To register your vehicle kind refer to the Community Center to pick your registration!

You may find the designated Golf Parking spots in the accessibility email previously sent.

Speed: 
Maximum allowed speed is 5 km/h on the promenade and 20 km/h elsewhere. 
          
Entry Permissions:
To ensure a smooth arrival of your electric vehicles, please send an email to cm@almazabay.com with the arrival time and date of your vehicle.

Driving Behavior: 
- You must limit your speed to no more than 5 km/h and maintain a safe distance of at least 2 meters between your golf cart and any moving vehicles or pedestrians. 

- Please take the correct roundabouts and follow standard driving regulations.

- Only individuals with a valid driving license are allowed to drive vehicles within Almaza Bay.  

- Underage Children or individuals without National ID, are not allowed to drive Golf Carts.


- Young adults under the age of 16 without a valid National ID and parental supervision are strictly prohibited to operate any moving vehicle. 

We trust that all homeowners will abide by these rules and that our security team have a duty to protect the community and enforce the driving regulations. 

Pick-Up & Drop-off: 
When picking up or dropping-off please stay to the side of the promenade to allow walking distances and watch for the safety of pedestrians. 
 
The above rules and policies will be strictly followed and applied by Almaza Bay security team. 








 

Beach Buggies:  

-           Beach Buggies must be registered and licensed to obtain driving access within the resort. To register your vehicle, kindly refer to the Community Center to pick up your registration! 

Speed:
 - Maximum allowed speed is 20 km/h


Entry Permissions: 
- If you are still receiving your Beach Buggy, please inform the Community Management Team to generate the appropriate permits cm@almazabay.com

Noise:
-Honking should only be used as a warning of proximity and please refrain from using it unless necessary.

Driving Behavior:
- Stunt Driving & Speeding is strictly prohibited.

- For the sake of our children and adults, please refrain from speeding inside the resort to provide a safe and sound environment for all pedestrians / bicycle riders. 

- Children under the official age of driving, or individuals without National ID, are not allowed to drive Beach Buggies.

-Beach Buggies are not allowed on the promenade. 



Seated Scooters:

       -  Seated scooters must be registered and licensed to obtain driving access within Almaza Bay. To register your vehicle, kindly refer to the Community Center to pick up your registration! 


Speed:
 - Maximum allowed speed is 20 km/h.

 Noise:
 - Please refrain from using the horn to maintain the serenity of our cherished Almaza Bay.

 Driving Behaviour:
  - For the sake of all our children and adults, please refrain from speeding inside the resort to provide a  safe and sound environment for all pedestrians / bicycle riders.

- Underage children, or individuals without National IDs, are not allowed to drive Scooters without parental supervision.
